Innovative Processes and Systems Engineering

The research in the laboratory is devoted to environmental protection, increasing the efficiency and sustainability of production processes, production systems and supply chains for the purposes of their optimal design and management. The mail scientific directions pursued are: modeling of the processes of absorption, adsorption and distillation in column apparatuses; creating models for the optimal design of sustainable supply chains for the production of dairy products and biofuels while satisfying environmental, economic and social criteria in the conditions of uncertain information; biomass valorization applying innovative processes for the recovery of value added bioactives for human health and well-being; creation of models of nanocomposite structures subjected to various loads in order to determine the zones of their safe operation; analysis of multicomponent drug products and foods with UV-Vis and NIR spectral methods and development of new mathematical algorithms for processing the received spectral data.
